Description: Over a thousand protesters assembled at Altab Ali Park, Whitechapel London on Friday 24th June 2016, the day after the Brexit vote. Altab Ali Park is named after a Bangladeshi textile worker who was killed in a racist murder in 1978. In the run up to and in the aftermath of Brexit, there has been alarming and growing overt racism, police brutality, and state violence against Black, PoCs, and migrants. The protest was called by Movement for Justice by Any Means Necessary, Revolutionary Socialists
