Description: Shappy spent his time observing, discussing and experimenting with Senior Research Scientist Dr. Steve Archer. Colorcosm was directly influenced by Archer’s research involving ocean acidification and the exchange of biologically produced DMS (dimethyl sulfide) between the ocean and the atmosphere, and the experimental water enclosures called mesocosms that aided that research.
