Description: Video filmed by Rob Hayton.nnDemonstration of my Rolls Royce Merlin engine Mk500-29 at the Battle of Britain celebration weekend, Sept 12/13 2015.Dave Lee assisting me run the engine.nnThis particular engine was built in June/July 1943 in a batch of 74 Merlin Mk22 for Lancasters.It was upgraded in 1945 to a Mk T24-2 for an Avro York before being reconditioned and upgraded post-war to the Mk 500 specification for the Spanish manufacturer CASA for use in the CASA 2-111 bomber.It was repatria
